Young Living Lifestyle Blogs

Is the new YLGo a good fit for you? Is the YL GO Plus a better fit? Or is it better for you to keep things as they are? Only you can answer the question depending on your personal needs, so that is the question I want to explore in this blog today.

YL Go is the perfect option for those of us who see Essential Rewards as an option that offers us convenience and a great way to stay organized; this option gives us up to 13 shipments for free. I don't want more than one shipment a month and I don't want to run out of anything, so I make sure I have on my monthly package the things I will need for that month. I budget myself to not go over 300 PV a month, so if there is anything I need that goes over it, I simply order with my ER points, which we only get with the Essential Rewards package.

If you are a person who orders whenever regardless of whether you get points, then your best option would be the YL Go Plus, for sure, since you get up to 36 shipments for free this way. For both of these options, shipping is only 2-4 days, so faster shipping is always a good thing, right? We want our products quick - the sooner the better, without having to pay extra, of course.

Now, if you are on the Essential Rewards Program (a requirement for YL Go anyway) BUT you don't order that much and your shipping is only $7 a month, is this program a good fit for you? I believe it is! You see, the YL Go is only $59 a year for 13 shipments (they give you an extra one just in case you need something extra - maybe at Christmas time?). If you are not on this program, you would be paying on average $7 times 12 months, which is $84. So right off the bat, you are saving yourself $25 if you decide to pay the $60 up front! Plus you get an extra shipment for free - just order whatever you need and forgot to get on your ER monthly shipment (but hopefully that won't happen often, right? Look at your ER shipments as keeping you organized)

Is the YL Go for you? Most likely! As we covered in the last paragraph - you will be saving yourself $25 by simply paying the $59 up front! You may want to consider upgrading to YL Plus, but ONLY if you think you will go over 13 shipments a year.

***Once we get an email confirmation that we’re on the program, automatically shipping method changes and one credit is used. 😎 They’ve really simplified shipping for us! It takes only 2-4 days to deliver - how cool is that? - and to get that kind of fast delivery it would be at least $20! Within three months my $60 will have been paid up and I still get my shipments in 2-4 days and don’t have to pay more.

I'm truly amazed, and I know you would be too if you decide to sign up for either one of these shipping programs - whichever works best for your needs.

One of the best advantages of being a wholesale member with Young Living is the opportunity they offer us to build a passive income by encouraging, inspiring and helping others. Not only do we get to simplify our life by having great lifestyle products sent directly to our home every month, but we get the chance to participate in monthly product promotions and save up "frequent buyer points" for free products. Add to that the chance of building up a great PASSIVE INCOME as we simply share Young Living with others so that they can also enjoy all the perks Young Living offers, and it sure makes it super awesome to be a wholesale member in Young Living. Cool

Enjoy The sunshine by the pool or beach without getting burned. These tips should help you.

My 14-year-old daughter, Ziedite, sprained her ankle severely on Valentine’s Day as she practiced for a cheerleading showcase on Sunday. She is one of the flyers and so the likelihood that she falls is fairly high. The coach told her that almost every flier has sprained or broken their ankle in the past. Ziedite had made it through the football and basketball seasons without an injury, but just as they were preparing to showcase some cheerleading routines, including some tumbling which she does so well, she fell and received a third-degree sprain on her left ankle.

Thankfully, when we went to see the doctor the next afternoon, she checked it out and said it was not broken. Another good thing was that the foot, though severely inflamed because of the nature of the injury, was not bruised at all. Thirdly, her pain level was low - only a 4 out of 10, she said. That was truly amazing! So no black and blue foot, low pain level and no fracture - we are very thankful! She will only need to miss practice for a couple of weeks and she can start doing her flyer routines again, along with her tumbling.

As we care for my daughter during this time, I am reminded of how thankful I am to be a member of Young Living. I know that the oil supplements I give her daily contribute largely to the fact that there were no broken bones and that there is no bruising on her foot. Inflammation is simply the way our body copes to cushion the injured part of our body as it works on healing it; kind of like a natural padding. Therefore, inflammation is not the bad guy here, though too many times we treat it as if it were. We must expect inflammation when we have a sports injury. Treating it with ibuprofen is not the solution because we WANT the padding as we recover; what we need to concentrate on is giving our body what it needs to enhance healing.

The 4 supplements I give my daughter daily are

1. an ounce of Ningxia Red -  her liquid multivitamin, multimineral and antioxidant supplement. She takes the rest of her supplement capsules with it; she prefers to drink them with NingXia Red than with water.

2. a capsule of Agilease - “a joint health supplement that’s perfect for healthy individuals who are looking to gain greater mobility and flexibility through the reduction of inflammation.” This supplement is marketed as one that will support joint health and that will help protect joint and cartilage health.

3. a capsule of Super Cal Plus - more than just calcium and minerals. it is “a true bone-health supplement.” Therefore, you would agree that it’s a great supplement for young cheerleaders to take daily.

4. two capsules of OmegaGize³, which combines the power of three core daily supplements-omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin D-3, and CoQ10.  “Used daily these ingredients work synergistically to support normal brain, heart, eye, and joint health.”

To aid her body as it works on healing the severe sprain, I added a capsule of BLM to the regimen. This supplement supports Bones, Ligaments, and Muscles. It contains not only MSM, collagen, and glucosamine, but also 3 wonderful oils that help combat inflammation, reduce pain and provide a large amount of antioxidants:  Idaho Balsam Fir, Wintergreen, and Clove. I encourage you to do your own research on each oil individually to learn why these oils are so amazing for athletes to take.

A lot of people are getting sick with sore throats and runny noses these days, and every year around this time it's the same. We blame the cold weather. We blame the fact that others are sick so there is nothing we can do but "catch" the virus as well. Truth is, there are quite a few things we can do to stay healthy. In this blog I want to mention three very important ones:

1. Above all, refrain from consuming sugar. There is sugar in almost all processed "foods" and beverages, so be extra careful and read levels. If it's obvious that there's sugar, then pick something else; however, check labels because there's even sugar in ketchup! Find some alternatives to your sugar addiction because your body WILL CRAVE SUGAR to satisfy your pallet. It's proven that sugar is more addictive than crack cocaine and heroine!

2. Get enough sleep every single night. Our body reboots itself at night time, as we sleep, so if we try to live on just a few hours of sleep each night our body is going to break down and force us to catch up on that lost sleep. So sleep it off without any cold medications. Just lay down and go to sleep. Besides cutting way down on sugar, sleep is THE most important thing we can do to stay healthy and get healthy.

3. Drink lots of water throughout the day BETWEEN MEALS and when you first wake up in the morning. The best thing we can drink is NOT a cup of coffee - it's 8 to 16 oz of filtered water. Don't particularly like the taste? Here are a couple of suggestions: Add a drop of Lemon Vitality oil into your 16-20 oz water bottle, shake it up and drink it up. If you want something that will warm you up, heat up a mugful of water and add to it either a couple drops of Slique Essence or a drop of Spearmint and 2 of Lime.

Want to kick it up a notch? Here are some extra suggestions:

- Diffuse Raven, Lemon or Thieves essential oil in the living room and bedrooms, day and/or night.

- Add a couple teaspoonfuls of NingXia Wolfberries. I find that the Young Living brand is the same price, but if you are on their Essential Rewards Program you get $19 back in points to redeem for other free products of your choice, so totally worth getting it from them. Plus, you can count on their quality being top notch!

-Lastly, make sure you have the Thieves line of products to clean your floors, counters, clothes, dishes and your hands (in the bathroom as well as whenever you go out). Their line of products enhances our lifestyle since they have no harmful ingredients PLUS Young Living's high-quality essential oils.

Stay healthy throughout every season, regardless if others are getting sick all around you. Just lower your sugar intake from foods and beverages, drink lots of water, and get enough sleep every night. If you want to kick it up a notch, diffuse top-quality essential oils, use Young Living's Thieves line of products and add wolfberries to your tea.

This should be EVERY Believer’s goal in life. It all belong to Him, however, He has entrusted it to us. We should be about our Father’s Business!
