The Children

The Lives our our Children As They Grow Up

I started out the family site with blog post pages for each of the younger ones, still at home, and grouped together the two older ones, who are actually my stepchildren since my husband had them in his first marriage. However, I realize that my kids no longer like blogging, so.... I have now you will be able to view their pages as subpages in the menu, so you can click to see what is going on in each of their lives. I plan to keep up with their individual pages a few times a year. Enjoy seeing what is going on with them as they grow up!

I am very thankful God granted me the ability to be a stay at home mom when I got remarried in 2002. In spite of hardships and struggles along the way, I realize I have been blessed immensely to be able to be with them and not ask for time off to do fun things with them.... Plus we can plan vacations whenever we want, not around the school year schedules because the youngest ones are currently being homeschooled.

So many great points here! And yes I love that this can be a vehicle to create time freedom ultimately allowing us to spend even more time with our creator.

Thank you for your comment on this post, Mary! Yes, when we seek Jesus and His Kingdom first, everything else lines up and we get to live peacefully.

I love how you cut away the fluff and busyness that we allow to distract us from the one who created us. If we seek Jesus first everything else lines up & flows
