I have experienced being a single mom and so my heart goes out to all moms and dads that have to go to work every day and leave their little ones with a babysitter. I remember when I had to go back
to work after my baby boy was only six weeks old…. It was so hard for me to leave him. I would get up early, drop him off at the babysitters and head to work. The first months were spent on finding the ideal babysitter because that was a task in and
of itself! It was only after three babysitters in a span of about 2 months that I finally had an “ideal” one. I was thankful that she was in our life, but it was still very hard to leave my son for almost three years every morning, and then pick
him up at night, take him home and spend time with him, all while trying to take care of myself as well. I lived with anger and resentment and would take it out on my poor little boy many times. Weekends were spent mostly doing chores…. washing clothes
at the nearby laundry place and cleaning the house, while trying to catch up on some sleep too. I remember I did a lot of walking with him, which is what helped me lose weight and get fit physically in the midst of all the craziness. I was thankful to have
food stamps so we could get some semi-healthy food too, like eggs, milk and bran flakes.
God works everything out for good, so I am thankful that I had the experience of being a single mom
for three years, as hard as that experience was to handle at the time. I am grateful because now I can understand single parents a lot more; I can understand what they go through. My heart goes out to them and I want to give them HOPE in the midst of despair.
One way I can help out single parents is by giving them the opportunity to sign up with the network marketing company called Young Living Essential Oils. I was offered this opportunity
when I was a single mom, but I did not take the time to look into it; I completely dismissed it! It could have been an opportunity that changed my life completely, but yet I just threw it away without even checking it out because I was very skeptical of the
whole idea. Now that I have had the time to learn what this profession is all about, I know it is an ideal way for single parents to build a business. As they strive to reach others with that opportunity, mothers or fathers like them, and they commit to using
the products daily, things start to change, sometimes rapidly, sometimes not so quickly, but nevertheless… as they continue to share the opportunity and build the business around their current schedule, they are able to finally be home with their little
one(s). They will be able to have the time to spend with them daily, without having to drop them off anywhere. They will have time to do all the chores during the week so that the weekends are free. Richness in TIME is just as amazing as monetary richness,
though we may not realize this! However, we then have to learn to invest the extra time properly, just as we need to learn to invest extra money we make properly as well. Both time and money management are skills that we need to learn well.
If you want to learn more about the network marketing profession, I recommend a book written by Adam Green, a 25 year old entrepreneur who has made it big in this profession. It is called “25
to Life Jail Break”. Two other great books are written by Robert Kiyosaki and they are called “The Business of the 21st Century” and “The Business School for People Who Love Helping People”. The last one I recommend
reading is “The Four Year Career”, written by Richard Bliss Brooke.
If you decide that you want to build a network marketing business, please contact me (through a private message on Facebook) and I will give you an easy plan to build a business with Young Living, like I am doing. However, don’t just “try it out” to see if it will work.
COMMIT to building the business and don’t give yourself the option to quit. Perseverance is the only way to succeed in anything, including building a
business in the network marketing profession.
