Regardless of difficulty, these are the 3 simple steps to handle any situation in order to ensure that you are at peace, and not filled with anxiety and worry:
1. Stay calm. Letting our emotions take over, never helps the situation.
2. Pray for Godly wisdom. Take the situation to God in prayer; this involves not only telling Him the situation but also taking the time to rest quietly in His presence to listen to what
plan of action He would like you to take. This may take a few minutes, but it may take a lot longer than that. Don't get impatient and begrudge the time spent with Him; His plan of action is always the wisest for us to take, so it's worth waiting patiently
for Him to tell us His wise plan, which will always be better than the way we planned on handling it, or have handled it in the past.
3. Follow God's plan
of action. Remember that God's wise plan almost always goes against the way you normally do things. It may sound completely odd to you, but step out by faith and do things exactly how He has asked you to do it, trusting that His plans will always "bring you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11) because He loves you more than you could ever imagine, regardless of what you've done or not done
in the past. You're never too far gone for His love to reach you. (Romans 8:28-39)
