Persevering with God

The journey I’ve chosen to take for the past seven years has not been always easy. It’s filled with struggles. Even harder is dealing with all those that mock me – mock my belief and reason for continuing to go down the road less traveled. They do so either silently, behind my back, or openly, where everyone can hear. However, I will persevere until the end for GOD IS WITH ME, and if God is with me and has called me to go on this journey, then He will make a way where there seems to be no way and He will take out of my life all those that try to knock me down.

I have learned to trust God’s timing. It’s always perfect. I’ve learned to trust God every step of the way though I don’t quite understand why things happen the way they do. As with Joshua, He constantly reminds me, “Be strong and of good courage for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”. Actually verses 5-9 of the 1st chapter of Joshua are constantly on my mind: “No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live, for I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail or abandon you.  Be strong and courageous for you are the one to lead the people to possess the land I swore to your ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them turning to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this book of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything in it.  Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command – be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

As far as network marketing goes, I will continue to promote it as a better way of life because many have proven that the system works and that it’s a much better way of living. I choose not to engage in argument on this subject because it’s a waste of time. I have way more to learn on my journey and a lot to do as a full-time homeschooling mom.

I will persevere until the end, focused on GOD, who is with me every step of the way, training me and encouraging me. “Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead I press on to reach the end of the race” (Phil 3:13b, 14a).
